James Chase is an Associate Professor at New England College and a distinguished artist known for his contributions to the arts. As the Founder of Arts Build Community, he is committed to promoting the arts within the community. Chase also serves as a curatorial member for the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts, where he contributes to the promotion and curation of fine art exhibitions.

His artistic practice integrates painting, printmaking, and photography, with a focus on social engagement. Since 2009, Chase has been featured in over 50 national and international art exhibitions. Recent highlights include “Picked Six Contemporary Art Month” in San Antonio and “Memory Palace” at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, OH. He has also held several solo exhibitions, including “Echoes” at RMFA and “Kill The Lights” at South Plains College in Levelland, TX.
