The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce HUMAN DOOR, an art exhibition featuring works by Nick Paradis in the Bernier Room at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, opening September 8, 2025.
Nick Paradis is a New England–based artist specializing in murals, custom commissions, and gallery exhibitions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in art and creative writing from New England College in 2009. With over a decade of experience in printing, Paradis currently manages production at Eastman Screen Printing and teaches at Lakes Region Community College. An active member of his community, he continues to write poetry and pursue a wide range of artistic endeavors throughout the year.
“These works were created between 2015 and 2017 with the intention of exploring perspective and understanding the human condition through a subjective lens. Our anatomy and human emotions have run in parallel for eons, and through deeper research and dimensional techniques, Human Door was cast into the world.”
HUMAN DOOR will be on display through October 31, 2025. A public reception is scheduled for October 4, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and all are encouraged to attend. The James W. Foley Memorial Community Center is located at 150 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867. Follow @paradisart and visit www.rochestermfa.org to learn more.
The museum gratefully acknowledges the generous support of its corporate sponsors, community partners, and collaborators, including the City of Rochester, Meredith Village Savings Bank, Back Hill Beer Co., Creative Guts Podcast, and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.
