RMFA to present works by Nate Twombly

The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce “By & By”, an exhibition featuring a series of works by Nate Twombly in the Bernier Room, at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center.

Nate Twombly is an interdisciplinary artist and illustrator hailing from Hooksett, New Hampshire. His artwork is a tribute to the charming and delightful aspects of everyday New England life, captured in exquisite detail in his illustrations. Nate obtained his degree from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2009, and has since created a diverse portfolio that showcases his versatile skills in various mediums such as pen and ink, watercolor, and digital art.

Nate’s captivating artwork has been showcased at some of the most prestigious venues in the region, including the Newport Folk Festival, Arts on The Green, Kelley Stelling Contemporary Gallery, Kimball Jenkins School of Art, and the Deerfield Fair. His masterful use of color, light, and texture brings his illustrations to life, and his unique perspective on the world around us creates a lasting impression on all those who encounter his work.

Through his art, Nate Twombly has established himself as a true visionary, a master storyteller, and an accomplished artist with a bright future ahead of him. His dedication to his craft and his ability to capture the essence of everyday life in New England has earned him a devoted following, and his work continues to inspire and delight audiences across the region and beyond.

The exhibition will be on view from May 8, 2023, until June 30, 2023, with a reception planned for June 17, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend. The James W.
