RMFA presents “Native Intelligence” by Debra Claffey

The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce “Native Intelligence”, an exhibition featuring a series of works by Debra Claffey, in the Bernier Room, at the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center.

Debra Claffey is a visual artist who uses encaustic, oil, and mixed media in her work. She holds a BFA in Painting from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Tufts University and an Associate’s Degree in Horticultural Technology from the University of New Hampshire. Claffey’s work has won several awards and, in both 2011 and 2020, she received an Artist Entrepreneurial Grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The exhibition will be on view from March 7, 2023, until May 5, 2023. A reception is planned for Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend. The James W.
