Cindy Rizza

Cindy Rizza is a classically trained, representational oil painter with a BFA from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Her art explores themes of comfort versus insecurity and love versus loss through iconic depictions of domestic subjects. Cindy has received several accolades, including the Vermont Studio Center Artist Grant, Second Prize at the 9th Annual Lore Degenstein National Figurative Drawing and Painting Competition, and Best of Show at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art Annual Juried National Exhibition. Her work is represented by George Billis Gallery in New York and Galerie Mokum in Amsterdam. Originally from Massachusetts and Maine, Cindy now lives and works in Southern New Hampshire.
