Catherine Callahan is a highly regarded artist known for her unique approach to sculpture and installation art. She honed her skills at the State University of New York at New Paltz and Cornell University, two highly respected institutions in the field of art. Catherine’s work has been exhibited in galleries and non-profit venues across the country, receiving critical acclaim for its innovative approach and emotional resonance.

Catherine has completed artist residencies at Hewn Oaks in Lovell, Maine and the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony in Woodstock, NY, where she developed new techniques and explored new ideas that have helped to shape her artistic vision. She is also the founder of the bi-annual Byrdcliffe Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition, which has become a highly anticipated event in the art world.

Currently based in Biddeford, Maine, Catherine creates her work in a studio located in an old textile mill. Surrounded by ghosts of the past and inspired by the sounds of Greek music, Catherine’s work reflects a deep appreciation for history, culture, and the natural world.
