Amber Lavalley, an emerging artist from Rochester, NH, graduated with a BFA in Painting from Montserrat College of Art in 2004. After working in a contemporary American craft gallery in Boston, she returned to Rochester to concentrate on her art. Amber’s distinctive pen illustrations, featuring imaginative portraits of women with unique jewelry and hairstyles, have been exhibited at Market 100 and Artstream in New Hampshire. In 2008, she was honored with the Portsmouth Herald’s Spotlight Award in visual art. Her work combines sensuality with a playful linear narrative, showcasing her originality and artistic confidence.
