Saturday, November 22, 2025

The Rochester Museum of Fine Arts (RMFA) is pleased to announce the installation of Passing Through, a public art sculpture made by Damion Silver, a New Hampshire–based multi-disciplinary artist whose practice includes printmaking, assemblage, and sculpture.

Located at the corner of Wakefield and Columbus, Passing Through is installed on public property beside an adopt-a-spot garden maintained by Studley’s Flower Gardens. The piece was previously exhibited in Kingston, NY and Concord, NH.

Silver’s work has been exhibited and published throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. His recent practice explores form through repetition, subtraction, and abstraction, using varied media and the spatial relationships between pieces to create a dynamic, unifying dialogue across his body of work.
