Madison Albanese invites viewers into an intimate and immersive meditation on memory, impermanence, and emotional transformation. “Seasons”, a body of work shaped by a lifelong fascination with image making, draws from a personal archive of film and video that began with childhood experiments using a Strawberry Shortcake 35mm camera. Through layered visuals and tactile sensibility, Albanese pieces together fragments of lived experience, evoking a powerful sense of nostalgia and emotional resonance. “Seasons” bring together photography, video, and large-scale mixed media compositions that reflect the ephemeral nature of human connection.
