Being creative and making things with my hands is something I’ve enjoyed doing from a very young age. It was always the one thing I could spend hours doing without noticing the time going by. I felt transported to another world when I made art as a child… There were no boundaries, and the concept of taking something out of my head and bringing it to life has almost felt like a magical journey to me for most of my life.
I have a Bachelor of Design from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Fashion Communications program. The classes were wonderful, having been taught all I know about design, typography, illustration, and textiles.
The Sabina Fenn art brand was born right before earning my BA in 2017, and since then I have been lucky to work with clients such as Lana Del Rey, American Greetings, Papyrus Saks Fifth Avenue (see full list below), creating anything from album merchandise to book covers, greeting cards to puzzles and much, much more!
My artwork is a reflection of the inspiration I find in the world around me, as well as the way I interpret them. I like to think of myself as an intuitive painter, allowing myself the time and space to explore new subjects and mediums as it feels right. I love to paint a wide range of subjects from people to plants, animals, landscapes, and more.
